Hi everyone,

I just started a new position at a luxury hotel in the city, and a lot of my scheduled hours are overnight.

I was told during the interview that my base pay would be boosted by a specific percentage, but I’m struggling to understand the exact formula they use to reach that final amount on the check.

It’s my first time working these hours, so I want to be proactive about my finances and make sure everything is handled transparently from the start.
