Pikey Peak Trek is one of the most scenic and less-crowded treks in the Everest region. It offers stunning panoramic views of Everest, Makalu, and other Himalayan giants. The trail combines quiet forests, charming villages, and open ridges, giving trekkers a mix of adventure, nature, and culture in a compact journey.
The trek begins from Ramechhap or Salleri and passes through traditional Sherpa villages and terraced farmlands. Walking along forests, ridges, and valleys, you will see local life up close while feeling the calm of high-altitude mountains. The climb to the summit provides an unbeatable viewpoint over the Himalayas and surrounding landscapes.
Pikey Peak reaches a maximum altitude of 4,065 meters, and the trek usually takes 5–7 days, covering roughly 55 km round trip. It is suitable for beginners with some trekking experience and offers a rewarding Himalayan experience without the long duration of other Everest region treks. The breathtaking sunrise and sunset views from the peak make this trek unforgettable.
