For MIG welding, heat resistance and dexterity are key. You want gloves that protect against sparks and spatter but still let you control the torch without feeling clumsy.
In my experience, gloves with premium leather (like premium cowhide or goatskin) and reinforced palms tend to work best. The best MIG welding gloves should also have a long cuff to protect your wrist and forearm.
I’ve used a few different options, and the ones from Unique Enterprises offer solid protection and good flexibility. They’re thick enough for heat but flexible enough for precise work.
