I’m considering PVC patches for clothing, but I’ve never used them before.

They look tough, almost indestructible, which sounds great—but I worry about stiffness.
Do they actually move well with fabric, or do they feel like armor plates sewn on?
I’d love to hear from anyone who’s worn them long-term, not just fresh out of the box.
