How to Play Paper io
Main Objective
The aim of the paper io game is to claim as much territory as possible. You move out from your land, draw a loop with your trail, and once you return to your base the enclosed area becomes part of your territory.
Basic Controls
The controls are very simple. On desktop you use the arrow keys to move, and on mobile you swipe in the direction you want your square to go. This makes the game easy to pick up but challenging to master.
Losing Conditions
If another player crosses your open trail before you close it, you are eliminated. The same happens if you accidentally run into your own trail without finishing a loop.
