I’m a journalist from Russia, and I moved to Muscat about four months ago. After working in busy newsrooms for years, I wanted a change of pace and a place where I could focus more on long-form stories and cultural reporting.

I found my apartment through https://middle-east.realestate/ — a cozy two-bedroom near the city center, which made settling in much easier. The site had plenty of options, and the buying process was straightforward.

Muscat has been inspiring so far. The mix of modern life and deep traditions gives me lots to write about. I’ve started contributing to a local magazine and enjoy exploring the markets and mountains in my free time.
