The solution is not to do nothing.

The stock market has had a rather spectacular rising trend over the last 13 years. I can vividly remember March 9, 2009, when the Dow's intraday trading surpassed 6,500. That day, when my mental reserve was at its lowest, I made some purchases. I admit that I sold them too soon and did not keep them for a long time, but that is a tale for another day.

The important takeaway from this is that since the market has soared upward for more than 13 years, many consumers have become comfortable with their investments. Recency bias may really be detrimental, thus changes must be done. It is not advisable to overlook your portfolio and assets at this time since yesterday's winner might become tomorrow's loss. What is my best next move right now, given my portfolio and my stage of life? is a question you need to ask yourself.

You can hold your assets and make choices more intelligently by using the resources available to you. With the current market, investments play a significant role in your overall financial picture. However, you should also keep in mind the importance of insurance, cash management, tax preparation, and estate planning, which may not be as urgent as retirement and investments but are still crucial.
