Comes with game titles that can be counted on the fingers but with tremendous success for each of them, Rockstar's actions are always anticipated. Just look at how their open world games, which have existed for three generations of consoles, continue to sell well, with the number now reaching more than 100 million copies. That's right, we're talking about the GTA series, the good news is that Rockstar has confirmed that a new series is being worked on a few months ago. While this development process is still mysterious, recent news suggests that it came with its own compromises.
Reports from a leaker, which was also confirmed by a Kotaku insider, believe that at one point Rockstar had planned to mix up the remastering process for GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption 1. But that plan was called off for two reasons: problems surrounding the release of the remastered version of GTA Trilogy and the fact that their resources are now being diverted to working on and completing GTA VI. This remaster plan called the “insider” wasn't really thrown away and could be something Rockstar will revisit in the future.
Rockstar itself still hasn't talked much about GTA VI other than making sure that the development process is already underway.
